History of Sherwood Country Club

Sherwood CC has a rich history of hosting PGA Tour events such as the Shark Shootout, hosted by Greg Norman, as well as the World Challenge, hosted by Tiger Woods. Before the course, Sherwood was also the location for several television shows and movies, most notably, the 1923 version of Robin Hood, starring Douglas Fairbanks, and the 1938 version, The Adventures of Robin Hood, starring Errol Flynn.
