Dress Code

In keeping with the traditional atmosphere of the Club, members, family members and their guests are always required to wear clothing in good taste.  Members are responsible for informing their family members and guests of the dress code and enforcing it.  A proper dress code keeping with Sherwood Country Club’s long-standing tradition will be strictly enforced.

PANTS/SHORTS – for both men and women, jeans are allowed in the locker rooms, Grille Room and on the Grille Porch. Jeans may not be ripped, worn or frayed. Only shorts designed for golf attire are permitted. No athletic shorts, bike shorts or cargo pants allowed.

SHIRTS – Men’s shirts must be worn tucked in with a belt. Collared, button-front shirts designed to be worn untucked are permitted. Collarless shirts and casual t-shirts are not permitted with the exception of mock turtlenecks designed for golf wear.

HATS – Hats may not be worn anywhere inside the Golf Clubhouse, except in the Pro Shop.  Hats must always be worn with the bill facing forward.

SHOES – Flip-flop sandals are permitted in the locker rooms, but not in any dining areas.

CHILDREN – Children over the age of 4 must adhere to the dress code and wear attire appropriate for their age and the occasion.
